How the Audit Works

AI Search Engine Presence
This measures whether your business appears in results when AI models are queried about contractors in your field and service area. We check for direct citations of your business name, your website URL, and whether the information returned is current. Full points require showing up across multiple AI platforms. Partial credit for appearing in some platforms. Zero points if completely absent or only with outdated information. Maximum 25 points.
Google Business Profile
Your Google Business Profile is the standard data source local AI systems use to understand your business. We measure profile completeness, review count and velocity, customer engagement metrics, and how quickly you respond to reviews. A complete, active profile with recent reviews and prompt responses scores full points. A bare minimum profile scores zero. Most contractors fall between based on completion level and review activity. Maximum 20 points.
Technical Signals
This includes structured data markup (schema.org JSON-LD for LocalBusiness), presence of an llms.txt file, website crawlability, and indexation status. A site with clean schema, crawlable pages, and proper configuration gets full points. A site with blocks or no schema gets zero. Maximum 15 points.
Review Signals
Beyond Google, we measure your review presence and consistency across platforms where contractors are evaluated. The score reflects review count, rating consistency across platforms, and review velocity (steady flow suggests active business). A contractor with 50 plus reviews and consistent ratings across platforms scores high. Fewer reviews or inconsistent ratings scores lower. Maximum 20 points.
Name, Address, Phone Consistency
AI systems use exact consistency of your business name, address, and phone number across the web as a trust signal. If you are listed as Joe's HVAC in one place and Joseph's Heating in another, AI systems cannot confidently recommend you. Full points require exact matching across at least ten indexed sources. Inconsistencies or missing data deduct points proportionally. Maximum 10 points.
Site Crawlability & Performance
AI models consider technical health when evaluating trustworthiness. Page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and absence of crawl errors all factor in. A modern, fast site with no mobile issues scores full points. A slow, mobile-unfriendly site scores zero. Maximum 10 points.
What Your Score Means
Invisible (0-39 points): Your business is not discoverable through AI search. Customers asking AI systems for recommendations in your field likely do not see you.
At Risk (40-64 points): You have some online presence, but it is incomplete or inconsistent. AI systems can find you, but might not rank you highly or your information might be outdated.
Visible (65-84 points): You show up in AI results and your information is mostly current. There are gaps in reviews, technical improvements, or name consistency that cost you ranking.
Dominant (85-100 points): Your business is discoverable, well-reviewed, technically sound, and consistently represented across the web. AI systems rank you highly and customers find you first.
